I am STILL finding myself playing it even after doing all of that because I want to do Marathon mode again and again. There are a few small glitches like textures occasionally crashing or getting stuck, but those don't really matter when you find yourself cracking your ribs in laughter when you see someone first play the game. I've heard several people mention wanting multiplayer and I have to agree with them. My editor recommended this one to me because I really like challenging games and for the unbeatable price of 2$ I couldn't resist. The gameplay mainly consists of 5 second very basic mini games. You don't really have to think hard on how to solve them, but you do need to react very quickly or you lose a life. The fun really comes from when you get surprised by a mini game you haven't seen before and suddenly have to react. All of the mini games are reasonably fun. After giving the game a try I really gotta mention how fun the game was in the short while I played it. The replayability is really where the game will likely shine. I could easily see the game being passed around at a party to see how far your friends can get. Here's something I never thought I'd share publicly: Skyborn is significantly more popular than Echoes of Aetheria. Like... WAY more popular. And sometimes, that bothers me... I felt that I should have progressed as a developer and improved. But as I've gotten older, I've learned to take a step back whenever I feel the pangs of regret, shame, whatever. To be able to see what's really important. And what's important here? I had a LOT of fun making it! And a few people had a lot of fun playing it! That's what really matters. Did Echoes touch as many people as Skyborn? Not even close. But it still has the same value to me. If just ONE person is deeply moved, motivated, inspired, whisked away to a fantasy world of their own making, what have you. Then that's all that really matters. That's why I made games after all. Because something else inspired me, whisked ME away to another world, and motivated me to tell my own story, and share my own vision for an epic adventure. So again, thank you for playing.
